Owl Center Programs

back to front

Daily live owl programs are offered on site. When in our permanent home, our goal is to have one or more program birds that are able to fly during programs so visitors can personally experience the quiet flight of owls.

Programs are also scheduled at off-site locations such as schools, nursing homes, Audubon and scout meetings, events, etc. A selection of program themes are available to suit a variety of ages, topics, and venues.

We will also offer regular "owl prowls" to go out in the field to call in wild owls.

Our Mission

The International Owl Center advances the survival of wild owl populations through education and research. We plan to accomplish our mission through biological and cultural programs and displays, green building design, citizen-science and other research, international exchange of information, the World Owl Hall of Fame, the International Festival of Owls, and other means.
